Description

This retrospective dedicated to Silvio Cavedon opens to the public on occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Schio artist’s death.

The exhibit is part of a larger project to promote the appreciation of local artists.

Cavedon’s personal exhibition, curated by photographer and friend Fabio Zoratti, showcases the man and the artist, sharing with the public the variety of his range, from his paintings, with the affinity and influences of painters from his and the previous generation, his photography, from the time he was creating ads for Lanerossi, and finally his forays into writing.

The works here exhibited come almost entirely from private collections and are the result of a two-year long period of research in order to collect, home from home, friend from friend, his works.

It’s the result of a meticulous reorganisational process, which also attempted to date all the works and reconstruct the artist’s evolution.
